‘Allergic March’ Validated in New Pediatric Allergy Research

Researchers used electronic health record data from more than 200,000 pediatric patients to describe patterns of pediatric allergies across the US, validating a population-level pattern of allergy development known as the “allergic march,” in which allergies first present as eczema, followed by food allergies, asthma, and environmental allergies.

UCSDMC Adopts Epic EHR System
