The COPD Foundation has established a new partnership with Clean Air Dynamics, an air quality solutions provider offering medical-grade and US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared air disinfection technology, to highlight the importance of clean air in the lives of individuals with chronic lung diseases.Â
Clean air is essential for managing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and improving the quality of life for those diagnosed with respiratory diseases. Both indoor and outdoor air pollution can exacerbate symptoms in people with respiratory diseases.
Research indicates that using air purifiers to clean tiny particles of mold, dust, or pollen from indoor air can help alleviate COPD symptoms. These harmful particles can cause swelling in the lungs, which can worsen cough, breathing problems, and congestion.
Clean Air Vital for Lung Disease Patients
