Nellcor Puritan Bennett (Melville) Ltd customers can now browse the company product line at Sandmansleep.com. The recently launched Web site offers product information for the Ottawa-based company, in addition to access to an email distribution list and contest registration.
With an identification name and password, current customers have access to frequently asked questions, the product catalog, and direct emailing options to technical support, product application specialists, and sales administration.

Bio-Logic Wins $3.3 Million Tender
The Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care awarded $3.3 million of a $3.4 million tender to Bio-logic Systems Corp, Mundelein, Ill.
Under the tender, Bio-logic will supply hearing screening and diagnostic equipment to test infant hearing throughout Ontario. The $3.3 million order was shipped in March, and the company anticipates additional orders through March 2002. Viasys Sponsors ARCF Endowment
In May, Palm Springs, Calif-based Viasys Healthcarewhich includes Bear Medical Systems, Bird Products Corp, and SensorMedics Critical Careand the American Respiratory Care Foundation (ARCF) announced the Viasys Healthcare Fellowship for Neonatal and Pediatric Therapists.
The ARCF Board of Trustees will select recipients based on abstract submissions. Special focus will be on bench studies, clinical research studies, and other qualified studies that involve mechanical ventilation. The fellowship includes a $1,000 cash award, a plaque, and registration, airfare, and one nights lodging for the American Association for Respiratory Care International Respiratory Congress on December 1-4 in San Antonio, Tex.

SleepMed Acquires HSDI
SleepMed, Columbia, SC, purchased Home Sleep Diagnostics Inc (HSDI), Los Angeles, in a cash and stock transaction. HSDI will adopt the SleepMed name and have responsibility for SleepMeds sleep and electroencephalography businesses in California. HSDI provides diagnostic and therapy services for people with suspected sleep disorders. SleepMed provides diagnostic and treatment services for sleep disorders and epilepsy. Siemens Signs Ventilator Agreement
Under a 3-year agreement, the Electromedical Division of Siemens Medical Solutions, Danvers, Mass, will provide Servo 300, 300A, and 900 series ventilators and clinical training to HealthTrust Purchasing Group, Nashville, Tenn.
