Every year while attending industry trade shows such as the American Association for Respiratory Care and the American Lung Association/American Thoracic Society, I am often asked how we are able to send them such high-quality publications as RT, Respiratory Therapy Products, and RT International at no charge. I always take a moment to explain that our ability to provide timely and thought-provoking information at no cost is because of the continued advertising support we receive from the manufacturers of respiratory care products and services. Without the ongoing support from these companies that our readers conduct business with on a daily basis, free subscriptions would not be possible.
