Roche has released an asthma management app called AsthmApp, according to an iMedicalApps.com news story. AsthmApp has been designed especially for parents/caregivers of children randomized in the ACOUSTICS clinical trial.
See mobile screenshots, below.
The aim of the app is “to provide the parent/caregiver with the information they need, tools to track their child’s progress and manage their appointments,” according to Roche.
“Encouraging parents/caregivers to use the AsthmApp will help them to support their child to adhere to trial procedures, data collection and appointment schedules, ensuring the clinical trial is run efficiently and trial outcomes are improved,” the company says on the app’s iTunes page.
