Joe Kiani, the founder and longtime CEO of Masimo Corporation, has resigned following his ouster from the company’s board of directors, according to a Reuters news alert.
Kiani’s resignation comes days after the company’s shareholders voted to remove him from its governance board, in what Reuters called a “bitter boardroom battle.”
Kiani founded Masimo in 1989, Reuters reports.
