The American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) will host a CE event to teach the latest advances in ventilator technology from July 25-27 in Glenview, Ill. The course offers extensive knowledge in advanced techniques and skills for the critically ill patient, including the latest advanced in ventilator technology.

The program emphasizes practical solutions for issues of patients in respiratory failure, through training, interactive discussions, hands-on small group workshops, and case-based exercises.

Topics include ventilator modes, ventilator-induced lung injury, management of obstructive and parenchymal lung disease, management of hypoxemia, and patient-ventilator synchrony.
