The SV70 provides noninvasive ventilation and high-flow therapy while maintaining compatibility with existing hospital accessories.
RT’s Three Key Takeaways:
- New Fleet Option: Mindray North America has launched the SV70 Noninvasive Ventilator, adding a turbine-driven device with integrated high-flow oxygen therapy to the US market.
- Accessory Compatibility: The ventilator functions with existing Philips V60 accessories, helping hospitals transition fleets without replacing their current circuits and interfaces.
- Shared Interface: The system uses the same user interface as Mindray’s SV700 and SV900 platforms, which helps respiratory care departments reduce staff training demands.
Mindray North America announced the commercial launch of the SV70 noninvasive ventilator, expanding its critical care lineup in response to hospital equipment replacement needs, according to the company.
The launch arrives as hospital respiratory care departments manage the clinical and operational impacts of the market withdrawal of the Philips V60, previously a widespread clinical standard in noninvasive ventilation, the company stated. Respiratory therapy teams have faced the challenge of replacing ventilation fleets while preserving workflow continuity, clinical familiarity, and patient safety.
“The SV70 was built with a clear purpose: to give respiratory departments a platform they can standardize on for the long term,” said Wayne Quinn, president, Mindray North America. “For healthcare providers planning their next non-invasive ventilator investment, it offers a clear path forward through advanced clinical capability, intuitive operation, and the flexibility to adapt as patient needs evolve. This is not a stopgap solution; It is a commitment to empowering clinicians to deliver exceptional care, every time.”

Clinical Features and Workflow Continuity
Built on a turbine-driven, single-limb platform, the SV70 incorporates clinical decision support and an intuitive interface designed to ease clinical adoption, according to Mindray. The platform allows clinicians to switch between non-invasive ventilation and high-flow oxygen therapy on a single unit, supporting care continuity across patient acuity levels.
To reduce the financial and logistical burden of fleet replacement, the SV70 is compatible with patient interfaces and accessories already utilized with the Philips V60, the release stated. Mindray noted that the ventilator also shares an operating interface with the SV700 and SV900 mechanical ventilators, creating operational consistency across its SV-Series devices and decreasing the training hours needed for respiratory therapists.
Data Integration and Availability
The SV70 connects with Mindray BeneVision N-Series patient monitors, enabling bedside and remote viewing of ventilation data within central clinical workflows, according to the announcement. Integrated wireless connectivity allows patient monitoring data to follow patients through internal transport.
The SV70 ventilator is now commercially available in the US and comes with a three-year warranty, according to the company. Mindray plans to feature the platform at AARC 2026 in November.
