A US-based jury ordered Apple to pay $634 million for infringing Masimo’s patent for blood oxygen monitoring technology in its Apple Watch, according to multiple media reports including Reuters.
Reuters reports that Apple will appeal the verdict.
Masimo issued the following statement in response to the decision:
