Actor William Shatner, famous for his role as Star Trek’s Captain James T. Kirk, is the new spokesperson and ambassador for the SoClean CPAP cleaning device. Shatner is one of the 54 million Americans who suffer from sleep apnea.
The first television advertisements featuring Shatner will air this month, helping SoClean advance its mission to improve the lives of people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Additionally, Shatner’s presence will be seen across SoClean’s YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram platforms.
“After I was diagnosed with sleep apnea 10 years ago, my CPAP machine changed my life,” Shatner says. “But I never really understood how important it was to clean it every day to prevent germs and bacteria. That’s why I love my SoClean—it makes it simple to keep the CPAP sanitized.”
You need to succeed at getting this Medicare approved . There would be less respiratory infections for them to cover .
Multiple studies have shown no measurable difference in prevalence of upper respiratory infections between PAP users and non PAP users…
If… there really isnt any measurable difference between people who have a cpap and people who don’t, with infections, then what exactly is soclean saying they’re doing for people?
SoClean devices seam to hype up the consern over “CPAP Germs” to provide a fancy box that generates ozone and doesnt actually clean anything.
I’m not impressed, for 300+ dollars I could buy a lifetime supply of gentle dish soap.
