CHAD Therapeutics Inc, Chatsworth, Calif, announced that the BONSAI OXYPneumatic conserver has received official FDA 510(k) clearance. The latest innovation in conserving devices, the BONSAI is the first pneumatic conserver to offer up to a 6:1 savings ratio. Weighing just 9.9 ounces, the BONSAI conserver provides 8 flow settings, an adjustable continuous flow feature, and utilizes a single-lumen cannula.

CHAD introduced the BONSAI at the Medtrade Expo in
Las Vegas last month. Attendees were excited about its lightweight
design and conserving ratios.
