The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health (MOH) has reported an additional case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) Monday in an expat in Riyadh, according to press release Nov 10.
The 45-year-old female who suffers from pre-existing medical conditions, is currently in stable condition. She had no contact with animals, including camels, the report notes.
Whether she had contact with suspected or confirmed MERS patients in a healthcare setting is still under investigation.
